#3 MDN HTML Research
The topic of my Interactive Media project is Sacramento and I will share a few specific places that I think are not only great to visit, but ones that I have a special connection with. I tried to find websites that are also centered around Sac and offer helpful guides and resources! I hope to implement some of these design choices and make them my own!

The first website I found is called visitsacramento.com and it is filled with many resources and helpful information about all the sights to see in the city of Sacramento! As I was clicking and scrolling, I really liked how the website was organized. It was clear and easy to navigate which I appreciated. I also like the simple color palette used. I think all of these elements are very helpful especially for people who are not already from the area. The pink/ mauve accents in the menu bar was a nice design choice and compliments the rest of the website. Another aspect of this site that I really liked was how pictures were incorporated or embedded onto the pages. Everything looked seamless and nothing looked out of place.

The second website I found is focused on the R Street Corridor known for the iconic historic brick buildings. On R street, you can find apartments, places to eat, shop and look at art! What I like about this website was how organized it was and how the images were the main focus of the site. The images complimented the red, white and black theme. This website was also easy to navigate and I really appreciated the artistic touch and staying true to the historical aspect of this place. The colors and vintage theme of some of the pages really bring the site together.
