Comparative Analysis
Personal Portfolio
I actually have a personal portfolio that I could take inspiration. I personally built through a website builder called Carrd.
My Carrd portfolio can be seen here.
I also can draw inspiration from the work in progress portfolio I was building on Squarespace. I feel like that sort of composition would be influencing my website design the most.
Other Portfolios
I have also have some notable examples of portfolios in a variety of formats, and the ones that caught my eye did have more fancier animations and complex interactions which I would have loved to work with.
However, working with these portfolios as sources of inspiration does inspire me with working with the types of compositions that I want to do. There are also some visual effects that I feel like are relatively easy to implement without the use of Javascript.
Implementation
Overall, I was drawn towards the the emphasis of the work throughout all the portfolios shown alongside fun and engaging animations to further draw the viewer in. I feel like I can work more simple animations to create an engaging narrative for the user to navigate my portfolio with.
